Pic related is a story I'm writing and one of the characters is racist. I'm thinking this beginning is pretty badass but I'm afraid some may see it as vulgar. Thoughts? (1/2)

Yes.

I swore off of reading others works a few years ago but I can tell you from experience a writer is better off not worrying about being too vulgar when that vulgarity comes naturally. Write from your heart and sculpt those words with your mind. It is all you can do.

I wrote a racist soldier character when I was 12. Had to justify it to my english teacher, told her all the racist remarks were in dialogue so it's only the character that's racist not the story.
