Do you ever feel that all the proposed solutions to the worlds problems will inevitably turn out just as shit as the system we live under now? That even if we overthrow capitalism and successfully implement socialism we would still feel atomised and alienated in our lives? That on some base level humanity is irredeemable and destined for a life of suffering?

You people sound like fundamental Protestants who think that by doing certain things they can accelerate the end of the world. That somehow the "Terra Novam a Deo" as described in Revelation can be brought out by the work of human hands. Even if you were to somehow miraculously create a global system where humanity is truly satisfied, it's only a matter of time before the balance is unsettled again and the structure collapses and the cycle of destruction and building begins again, but it will never be brought into fruition anyways. Just because we live in a peace bubble people suddenly think humanity has redeemed itself, when not even 100 years ago we were blowing each other to shit by the millions with artillery and bombs on a global scale.
You shouldn't be thinking of how to overthrow the current system, more you should be thinking of the best method of damage control when the bubble pops. The current arms race has advanced to the point that if any major powers engage in full scale warfare everything is fucked, and so long as those major powers don't engage in war with each other they rape the rest of the planet for resources instead engaging in proxy wars and massive economic exploitation of third worlders.
