to argue against suicide requires arguing for an actual value to life, which is worthless is you're already suicidal and don't mind the loss of your life and thus don't value your life. suicide or continuing living are both emotional decisions and hence can't be argued for or against either way. the only reason i'm still alive is because i'm afraid of failing my suicide and ending up vegetated

Can I ask you about my specific case? Because I've been considering suicide for a long time, but my philosopher friend says it would be immoral by all three major systems of philosophy. I think he's full of shit but he won't do more than rehash 101 level tropes with me.
