If you still have hope for a better tomorrow, you haven't read enough.

The only thing that this life has to offer is a never ending spiral of vague insecurities, anxieties and false hope. You won't awaken one day, possessed by drive and know exactly what you want to do, why you want to do it and how to get it done. It won't happen. You'll toss and turn through life or you'll be a delusional coward who tells himself comforting lies but it all ends the same no matter what. If you're lucky, you'll kill yourself or die young. If you're not, you'll die old and decrepit and alone.

Never let anyone tell you how to spend your time here, you're the one who has to live your life after all. Do whatever you can bear to live with.

>/lit/ is for the discussion of literature, specifically books (fiction & non-fiction), short stories, poetry, creative writing, etc. If you want to discuss history, religion, or the humanities, go to /his/. If you want to discuss politics, go to /pol/. Philosophical discussion can go on either /lit/ or /his/, but those discussions of philosophy that take place on /lit/ should be based around specific philosophical works to which posters can refer.

I think this being a bastion of religious conservatism is one of the coolest things on the internet. You won't find that on any other popular website, practically.

It's downright fascinating :3

What an amazing insight. It's a good thing we have intelligent people like yourself to point this out, otherwise all us morons would be blissfully ignorant and enjoy our lives. WTG Champ
