I have no love for parents and their sheer in competence at raising children in like 80% of cases, but any other method has always seemed "creepy" to me, like growing up in a cult. I think having a single mother and father figure to identify is probably important.

I am major in mathematics and nobody cares about set theory or foundation of mathematics. Russell is long gone.
And Even if you do foundation of mathematics, they didn't care Russell's approach seriously because neologicism only go deep on Frege's research because they sufficiently can change to Hume's law, and don't care about Principia Mathematica(I mean, just see how long and needlessly complicated the book is)
Finally, you know the Russell's paradox that is rated as the most famous achievement of the person? Well, historian found out than Zermelo found it earlier and he didn't published it because he thought it is "too obvious".
