Is there an archetype you aspire to be like?

For me it's the right hand man/woman, the one who's there 24/7 doubling as a bodyguard and personal assistant. Often underappreciated or unloved by their master, but still they dedicate their lives to helping their master's dream come true. I have no dreams of my own, the next best thing is helping someone I admire achieve theirs. In real life it's exactly as thankless and fucked up as it sounds though, as soon as my master casts me out I'm killing him and then myself. This life is cruel and pointless and I'll be glad when it's over.

I'd say "Pleasant Drifter." You met him by chance. He's not necessarily impressive but he makes you feel warm and welcome to himself. Sticks around for a little while and then just as easy as he came he leaves with no theatrics or real dramatic closure. He simply fades from view.

I'd like to be like those hermits who live up in the mountains, far away from civilization. The hero is exhausted, having walked for days, perhaps with enemies in his tail for a long time, and he finally collapses alone in the hostile woods. When he wakes up there I am; I've taken him to my cabin, wrapped up in warm blankets and I'm in the process of cooking us a meal, probably some sort of soup. I chat amicably with him for a while, we enjoy the food, he rests for a while longer and then he leaves; we probably never meet again and I might one day hear of his exploits, but I'm still in my cabin, far from everyone, but content knowing I did a stranger some good.
