What are some books which have masculine undertones or that may help me acquire and harness the power of masculinity at its fullest?

The Gospel of John
>It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

>He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
>Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
>“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”
>Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
>“Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
>Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
>When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

"Masculinity" is a pretty far reaching subject. It's like asking about "human nature." Far too broad. At that level you'll just find MRA shit, (which is just douchebags larping as alphas.) OP, is there a specific aspect of masculinity which you feel yourself deficient in? That would be an easier place to start

my thoughts as well

a masculine man is someone like jerry seinfeld. jerry seinfeld is probably the most successful comedian ever, but do you remember a single one of his jokes(if you can, do you remember several)? the comedy didn't matter to him, only his ego did. his personality is exemplified in his new show when he has an episode with kramer, who has become a cringy old weirdo since seinfeld, but does jerry feel bad for his old friend? in calculated words maybe, but inside you can see he feels only hate for kramer being awkward on his show. conversely when he has the retarded yuppie jimmy fallon on the show it's like they are best friends because he appreciates the power jimmy was helping him gain by being high energy.

if you were lost on an island with jerry seinfeld, he wouldn't kill you immediately, only as soon as you had your back turned.

Masculinity won't give you any power, only weakness and repression.

Carl Jung is kind of right, you need to "integrate" the anima, the feminine principle in you, to develope further as a man.

I have followed some essays on Jung but I had not touched upon this topic, what would you recommend to read in order to understand the anima and the man? I have not read any Junt itself btw, only essays.

Not for masculinity though. Do not get me wrong, considering his biography the guy must have been a genuine silverback but these "diaries" don't reflect that at all.

Just read books written by men, you dimwit. Or biographies of men, like Caesar, Goethe, and Napoleon. Any books that are "on" masculinity are bound to be shit.
