You've been brainwashed by capitalist pigswine my friend. There is demonstrably enough for everyone. Look at basic income. Look at all the excess product disposed off just to avoid giving it away. All the excess food. Look at all the billions of dollars hoarded by a small percentile (see the Panama Papers). See people actually being arrested and prosecuted for giving away water (Scott Warren). See the willingness with which people help each other when given the option, like suspended coffees and foods. Education, Healthcare, etc, they're artificially jacked up. I pay 80€ a year for months and months of medications. I spent months in a hospital and payed 200€, and that was covered by my health insurance. I paid nothing for my higher education. What you see in america is rampant, uncontrolled capitalism actually skewing the way you perceive something like happiness. You don't have to knock people down to get up. This sense of infighting, of competition is entirely manufactured.
