What's /lit/'s opinion on John Green?
I only enjoyed "Katherines" but I really, really love "Looking for Alaska" and "paper towns". What about you?

>Looking For Alaska
"Oh wow, that was pretty great. Usually I don't like young adult fiction, but that was surprisingly well handled."
>Katherines
"Huh. That was... huh. A little too much like his last one, but still kind of entertaining I guess. All the characters sound the same, though. I'm sure he's working to improve on that.
>Paper Towns
"Well, that was boring. The female lead was unlikeable, the supporting cast might as well have not been there, and the main character is, again, an obvious self-insert".
>Will Grayson, will grayson
"OH MY GOD MAKE IT STOP. THIS IS GAY. LITERALLY THE GAYEST PIECE OF SHIT I HAVE EVER READ".

I still watch and enjoy his youtube channel, though,

I couldn't get into Will Grayson, Will Grayson to save my life, but I liked the other ones a lot, particularly Looking for Alaska. Looking forward very much to whatever he writes next.
