Ok /lit/, I'm coming to the end of my current book. What do you all think I should read next?

Picture is of all the books in my library that I haven't yet. Books I've previous read this year have been, in order:
>Perdido Street Station by Chine Mieville (This is my current book with which I am almost done)
>Tree: A Life Story by David Suzuki
>One Person, No Vote by Carol Anderson
>Leadership in Turbulent Times by Doris Kearns Goodwin
>Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
>The Dead House by Billy O'Callaghan
>Henry Clay: Statesmen for the Union by Robert Remini

So given my history, what comes next? I have very broad interests, so pretty much all of these sound interesting in different ways.

So what's the verdict /lit/? What's the objectively best way to order this stack?

Buy something worth reading, and then read that.

And by that you mean... YA Fiction? Romance? Philosophy? Those are about the only genres I don't actively stock anymore. Not since I was a young teen anyway.

If you want attention specifically for your stack just post in the stack or shelf threads like all the other faggots.

Yeah, the Federalist Papers are very important for you to have read, so try those. Very important indeed :3

My favorite is Madison, least favorite John Jay.

I haven't read any of your previous books but confederates in the attic is one of the most funny books I've read in some time. For example, my favorite part is when they have a contest for who can act like the best bloated corpse on the battlefield. Anyway, it's worth a read.

I've debated where to slide that one in. A lot of my US history is either focused on the common man rather than the political environment (the life of settlers in the trans-appalachian areas / Ohio valley and such) OR has been between 1800 and 1865. Thanks anon! Appreciate the suggestion.

This was a gift but the owner of our local bookstore and I are both US history enthusiasts, and he raved about it. Good to hear an agreeing opinion. Looks like I may be sliding back into US history.

Don't you have an SJW thread to be shitting up?
