Should I give up anime? Like western cartoons are objectively evil, they promote egalitarian ugliness and subjectivity and the destruction of meaning. Anime does the opposite of that. But anime has baggage, but I need some art that is fulfilling in some sense.

Any books on modern aesthetics and perhaps breaking down different art styles each culture uses?

Anime is full of beauty and optimism towards life, thats why all the nu-anons hate it with so much passion.It goes against their deranged ideas.They cant possible fathom that someone has a positive outlook on life like the based japs

Anime is akin to Ancient Greek art, it's essentially pagan but beautiful. Western cartoons are essentially Christian but as the Christianity in the west is rotting or has already by large part rotten away, the cartoons too are full of rot and decay. That is to say, modern Asian art > modern Western art, but Asian art won't bring you something you truly crave, that is, Christian love and beauty.

Most anime is possessed by a rigid anti-creativity disguised by its supercosmic melodrama. Although humans aren't obsessively uglified and caricatured as per Western cartoons, the uniformity of the "anime look" is unnerving. It would be one thing to have disparate and creative idealised human froms, each highlighting different kinds of human beauty. It is another to have factory-produced flat humanoid sold RELENTLESSLY as the ideal (in sexiness, cuteness, handsomeness etc.) -- when they don't even resemble what humans look like in any capacity. That said, anime obviously has its boons -- for instance, Hunter x Hunter's character Hisoka is an example of a sexual deviant whose portrayal is unhampered by either conservatism moralism or sanctimonious sexual positivity, a kind of freedom of expression not prevalent in the Anglophone pop culture (note the Western "queer" who will call Hisoka's depiction "problematic" for its collation of predatory sexuality and homoeroticism... while simultaneously gushing over Oscar Wilde).

You obviously haven't watched enough anime and read enough manga to understand just how awful most of it is.
Stop while you still can. You get better art and writing in Western comics. Read some Kerascoet.
