Just finished this. And well, it should have been longer desu. As soon as I was beginning to invest myself into the characters in part 2, the book ends abruptly. Obviously since it was written by Dostoevsky, I got the feeling that I was reading TBK at times.

Anyways, thoughts on the book /lit/?

It didn't end abruptly at all, but the book itself is fucking great and is one of my all time favs. What truly surprised me when I was reading it was the fact that it was much more playful both in tone and in the style it was written when compared to say The Idiot or Crime and Punishment and it's a work that encapsulates you on many different levels once you truly start sinking your teeth into it. One of the toughest things I've read due to being a similar kind of fuck up like the lead, but it's definitely quite insightful and something that changed me for the better once I was done with it. Leave it to Dostoevsky to perfectly depict internet 2 decades before it's even a thing.
