>/write/ sunday Edition

You are still writing, no? This thread is about /lit/tard's and their writing.

Discuss your work but remember that "write what's on your mind" and other blogshit does not belong here.

NEVER DISCUSS A WORK IN PROGRESS; NEVER DISCLOSE WHAT SHOULD REMAIN CLOSED; DO NOT GIVE BIRTH PREMATURELY, LEST YOU ABORT A STILLBIRTH.

this is correct; everyone who posts in these should read experiment as mediator of object and subject (bruh)

Whenever I work intensely on a poem, I feel worn and depressed afterwards (anhedonia). Has any of you experienced this? It typically wears of within the week but I need to read more and it is annoying me.

reading more will definitely help this. vocabulary is a reservoir that always needs replenishing. in my experience, part of that fatigue is usually because you don't have much to draw on to flesh out your technique. reading well is like eating well. not reading, or reading junk, is starvation

What do y'all think about using writing not directly from whatever your writing. For example, I'll rant and ramble in a journal about metaphysical topics or post on here long tirades about subjects I know over multiple posts. Sometimes I'll start another story and get a nice few pages. Is this part of writing? Stitching together things like this? Editing them into a work?
