How many of you actually keep a diary here. I don't want any of those meme answers. If you do have one, what do you write about?

I keep a journal. I try to write in it when I can. Usually I'll just write out things I've been thinking about or reflect. Or I'll write poems, or keep a list of ideas down. Sometimes I'll doodle. It gets better the more you do it I think.

I keep notes on thoughts that pop into my head more than journalling of daily events and so on. Sensations and concepts and sometimes little interesting moments. Varies from high-minded contemplation to abject retarded shit. I try to exclude nothing, as long as it touches something interesting. I do it on my phone a lot at the moment, backed up on the icloud botnet. I should transfer them to some more tangible more often.

Shit, I should do this. I've always tried to just write about my stupid day and have never been able to keep at it

I do. I used to write it on paper, but I was afraid that anybody would read it, so I started to write it on my laptop.
I usually write down my day in the most detailed way, and write down thoughts about things that happened to me, or things that come to mind at the moment.

I write about randomn thoughts like how i feel, my mental state, etc. Thoughts i feel are worthy of being written down.

I record my dreams if they're any good.

And the state of my mood and depression to see if there is any pattern going on.

Do you all happen to read through your journals at a later date? I feel that if I kept one I'd end up with a stack of them.

Yeah, it's interesting to flick through. Especially when you can chart different moods or ideas that were occupying your thoughts that you might not have picked up on at the time,.

Yes, but then I realize how much of a colossal faggot I was/am and it makes me embarrassed to even think those things. So I guess it helps in avoiding that person in the future.
