Instead of adding books to lists or downloading them from LibGen actually buy a physical copy and you'll feel obliged to read it.

Why worry?
Maybe real worry is that you don't even try at all and only add expectations?
Stop worry and just read. Let go of worry.

Sort of the same. I think I just need out of my mom's house. Far too many distractions that I can't get rid of

I do and I still read a lot but it's still too much and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Fomo, oversaturation, racing mind etc.

Leave your phone outside the room you read in and do breathing exercises to calm your racing mind. Also if you still can't focus just follow where you're reading with your finger on the page as it will force you to stay focused.

Keep a log of what you have read in a notebook or website like goodreads. That way when you look back at what you have read you won't feel like you are going nowhere.

Buying books honestly doesn't help that much with keeping your backlog down. I also have 4 books currently at various stages in the process of being shipped to me, and one preordered.
