has there been any study that has stated that its 'good' for people to read?

>> No.13195752

To do that a study would have to define what 'good' even is, and that isn't in the realm of a study.

It's common knowledge that reading increases your IQ just like playing an instrument.

I recently heard about a study stating that
>people who have read a lot during their childtime
didn't get any benefit from it compared to
>people who were surrounded by a lot of books during their childtime
My guess is that god parenting does the job anyway, whether people read a lot or not

Jesus christ, imagine the autism necessary to type up a massive list of hundreds of examples of some fatass youtuber buying hookers and saying mean things about Anne Frank, then posting it like it's fucking Watergate levels of shocking truth
I don't know if it's worse that the guy made this or that there are thousands of comments actually praising this as insightful and important internet investigation

The death panels that boomers compained about were unironically a good idea and would have made the ACA (obamacare in common parlance) work very well. If someone like Boogie failed to adhere to treatment so many times, eradicating would be the best bet and would make the system cost effective and be able to provide care for everyone. Muh grandparents? It is more humane to execute those with chronic conditions past the age of 80 or so too, than keep them alive. Unfortunately, they didn't exist, so it's a shitty system that lets young people die in their prime while old people and really unhealthy people like boogie get a free pass.

There are almost more humans than ants, don't be surprised that shit happens.

What? That isn't even remotely true, every estimate I can find for the number of ants on earth is in the low quadrillions

The estimate for ants is 10 billion

>> No.13198001

>>13197969
Find a single source. Every single one I can find is no less than seven quadrillion.
Their population being comparable to humans doesn't even make any fucking sense. The average human probably kills several hundred ants over their own lifetime, and we don't even directly interact with them all that much.
