I like his concept of an ubermensch. "Someone who has succeeded in overcoming obstacles while also accepting their failures with grace."

Something like that, and I can respect that concept, because everyone will experience obstacles in life as well as failures. Do they get hung-up on failures? Do they look at obstacles and then just shrug, give up, not even bothering to try and best it?

I just did some further research into it and it seems to also have to do with his 'God is dead' statement, which was not some sort of declaration of an atheistic triumph or anything as foolish as that. His concept of ubemensch is to try and help prevent the nihilism that can come when a belief in God is not present. I don't particularly like its aspect of seemingly 'condemning other-worldliness', like things such as an immortal soul, but I can respect his desire to 'fill the vacuum of nihilism'.

Nietzsche also predicted the horrible atrocities that would come about in the 21st century to some extent. The rise of Communism, millions dead, things like this if I'm not mistaken. It's sad how people seem to think that he represents some sort of Saint George figure in some people's eyes, slaying the 'dragon' that is Christianity. A more accurate way of viewing his stance, I think, is if the 'dragon' which is actually atheistic nihilism had slain Saint George whom is the actual representation of Chistianity. Then over comes Nietzsche in his big moustache to see the corpse and think of the repercussions that will come. "God is dead, and we've killed him. The consequences will be dire..." that kind of thing.

One thing that we can see from the loss of God in many people's hearts, is that it is replaced by insufficient beliefs. The religion of feminism, or more broadly, Cultural Marxism. You've got supposed 'scientists' who push political correctness, and condemn other scholars who try to bring up politically incorrect but truthful things. The concept of truth itself seems to be under attack, especially biological truth, and the problem with universities is known. Many professors self-describe themselves as Marxists, there's professors who are against free speech and wish to silence people who say things they don't 'morally' approve of with their false lens of 'politically correct' 'truth', and indeed some students find themselves struggling to either make their paper with actual worldly truth and face the consequences or to instead write it with lies to satisfy their professor.

Christianity is about truth, it's about not letting lies leave your lips meaning to spread things you know to be false. The whole concept of 'utopia' is false, for it cannot exist, if the definition of it is a perfect society with total equality and no suffering. Forcing equality manufactures much tyranny and suffering. With so many people losing sight of God, many of them are filling the God-shaped hole in their heart with lies and falsehoods, which is not a sufficient replacement.
