So, /lit/, I've been browsing this board for a while now, and I can't help but notice you don't have any memes.

Why don't we all get together and create an hilarious meme?

The only /lit/ memes I know of aren't even memes, but trolls, like posts about Sasha Grey.

That, and it's hard to tell when someone is posting (say) House of Leaves because they really did just read it and like it or if they're just trolling. It seems like either lit is full of trolls or people just stop in from other boards to post the one book they read this year.

Okay. So what happened? I checked the wiki, and the last issue you guys published was the last one I remember, a few months ago. Seemed like you had enough submissions to be bi-weekly, assuming you didn't sift for quality (and if I recall, you didnt').

all fundamental transmissible units of culture are memes, what you're trying to say is that /lit/ doesn't have any funny memes or image macros or something, but this is /lit/ we are serious classy people and we don't need such things.

Uh yup: zinewritersguild.wikia.com
Huh, there were more issues than I thought. Still, nothing since August. You know, this would probably be workable if the issues were shorter, and with less filler. I mean, I know it's kind of hard to say you're representative of a whole board's artistic output if you're cutting like 80% of submissions, but I think that would be the only way to make the damn thing readable.
