Is there anything on the feeling of dying? Not about someone withering away but the actual moment when you're about to die. The subjective feeling of dying. I have a lot of dreams where I die and it's a weird feeling. But I'm too autistic to put it in words.

Poetry, letters, novels, short stories, essays, whatever

ACTUALLY, IF YOU ACTUALLY WERE AUTISTIC, IT WOULD BE EASY TO TRANSLATE YOUR SENTIMENTS INTO VERB —YOU ARE NEUROTYPICAL.

I've written a lot of death scenes. Have you ever been seriously injured? It doesn't actually hurt at first, because you're in too much shock to register the pain. Partner that with a fading out of consciousness like a fever setting in or lightheadedness.
If you're injured most of the pain only happens when you start caring about the wound (reason kids who are injured only cry once someone points out that they're injured) and/or when you move a lot. If you're dying you probably aren't either.

But I mean I've never died before so idk.
