Am I a brainlet if I cant fully immerse myself into literature? I prefer film/tv/anime over literature because it is more aesthetically encapsulating, albeit inherently. The latter media synthesize multiple established artforms -- music, photography, etc -- but literature is purely written word. If feel this issue may be caused by my lack of imaginativeness, which has been declining since my childhood. Is film just better than literature? Or am I just retarded?
