Hardy Boys and Animorphs. I was a shallow child.

Of course, I read mostly 50 year old sci-fi for most of my teenage years, so I feel like I made up for it.

>> No.1303816

I didn't read for pleasure when I was a kid.

My parents also never taught me how to read :[.

>> No.1303814

Awesome.

I cried when Rachel died.

This wasn't when i was a kid, this was like two months ago.

>> No.1303827

The Babysitter's Club

Goosebumps

almost exclusively from the ages of 6-12. And go figure, today I'm a huge horror/thriller/mystery fan but my secret pleasure are Lifetime movies.

Redwall series, Holes, harry potter, and matt christopher books (the dude that wrote all those sports books)

>> No.1303846

not as a young kid, but like 11-14 I was all over Christopher Pike's dick. The Last Vampire, The Midnight Club, Fall Into Darkness, Starlight Crystal, The Tachyon Web, I was all over that shit.

My earliest memories of reading involve the 'Biff, Chip and Kipper' series. I also read Goosebumps and Horrible Histories around that time. The first Harry Potter book was published when I was 7 so it was inevitable that I would be hooked.

>> No.1304201

Dr Seuss
Goose Bumps
Harry Potter

Notable mention is The Beasties
I don't remember much about it, but I know I really liked it.

>> No.1304240
