Alright /lit/, I have begun writing an amateure story, but the plot is not essential for my question.
There is a girl in the story, who meets two men. I don't want straightforward romance, I'm going for the small hints but my question to y'all is a matter of preference.

Would you prefer if a story goes with the classical "girl meets boys, boys falls inlove, girl picks one, loser becomes hero" kind of romance, or would it better of there were romantic tension, but one part is gay and then unavailable?
