What would poetry be like today if we didn't have the Christian Dark Ages? Can you imagine it? I can't, because I live in a dark and uncultured time.

First give the premise of how we avoid the Christian infection, then imagine the way things would develop from then on, historically, sociologically, technologically.
By the year 1000 (as we see it today) the world, mostly Europe but not exclusively, would look quite a bit different.

To guess what art would be like is an even more impossible thing than to imagine what the year 2000 would be like.
