I began with Purity of Heart is to Will One Thing during a time of weakness and it proved very useful to me.
My weathered copy recommends beginning with chapter 12, then upon hitting 13 looping back around through from the beginning, which I feel helped me understand some of the ideas he commonly throws around but does not explain very well until that chapter.

Both Fear and Trembling and Sickness unto Death are reasonable starting point. If you really care about understanding Kierkegaard then start with Either/Or, but it's big and you have to go through it once you started it lest you end up a meme-sprouting retard taking ironic writing for a face value. And for the love of God, don't read any secondary literature on Kierkegaard. The last think you would want is idiots and classifiers misunderstanding him and forcing that misunderstanding on you.
