/lit/, I'm not a drinker. 95% of alcohol tastes terrible to me and the remaining 5% makes me dizzy after one drink.

Recently however – in the past year or so at least – I've lost the ability to write. It's not that I lack inspiration mind you, I have plenty to go around. The problem is, every time I sit down to write I get scared that what I write is going to be horrible. This prejudgement is so strong that I'll usually quit before ever opening a word processor or else spend an hour sitting there motionless, sperging internally over little details that bother me.

On a scale from 1-10, how shitty an idea would it be to just get a bottle of liquor and take a shot to get over my inhibitions any time they keep me from writing?

Nothing wrong with it. Dont' listen to that shithat who posts that quote, I write sober 80% of the time and tipsy 20%. Alcohol is great.
Then again I also just like the taste and I only have 1-2. alcohol tastes amazing you just got to find the stuff you like.
