The real lesson here is that women can't drive.

Cages were evil murderboxes from their first conception. Cars should be banned.
pros:
>no more fat people
>no more air pollution
>no more dead animals littering the streets
cons:
>can't key some guy's vehicle for being a dick

cons
>no efficient means of mass transport below the regional level

>what are trains
Look at what caging addiction has caused this great nation, a people who think the only way to possibly get around town is by taking on $600 a month in expenses to fuel a motorized box that rolls around killing innocent children and small animals, driving up tax expenses, and tearing apart existing infrastructure.
Somehow Europe and Japan have the best transit systems in the world and few people there own cages. Murrka has 95% of our people owning cages, and getting to the other side of town takes 3 hours, now grandpa, 90 years old, HAS to drive just to get to the grocery store, and he murders some 21 year old biomed student by falling asleep at the wheel. What a fantastic civilization we've crafted.
Fitzy's message was clear as day. Cages are evil and only lead to death and destruction, they are anti-human and anti-civilization. BAN cages NAO. Gas all cagers, transit wars now.

I don't think I really get Fitzgerald. I thought the Great Gatsby was kind of cute but nothing remarkable. Tender is the Night somehow left a kind of sweet impression on me but I had to wrestle through some parts while reading it and did not enjoy it much at all.

As a non-native speaker, am I missing something? I read the Great Gatsby in English. Sure his sentences flow fine but that didn't stand out to me as exceptional either.

His prose is god tier, the way he describes characters is tender and vivid, and he demarcates the evils of rich people and cagers. Cagers can literally get away with murder for speeding, driving drunk, and killing random people, so long as they have affluenza. Even if they don't have wads of dosh, the court lets them off, because every member of the court is also a cager. They are a filth and a virus.
Trains are superior to cages.

Hm. I will have to give it another shot. None of the characters really came to live for me, they felt like actual characters representing things more than people to me. This is talking about Gatsby more than Tender is the Night. But maybe my own expectations ruined it.

Absolutely based. I fucking hate cars and everything associated with them

Better yet
>muh freedom
>hurr...uhh...duhhh
>no one should have the right to even get around the city unless they also buy a cage
>freedom fuck yeah
What an abortion of a country. The only effective response to cagers is a bullet to their brainstem.

Carss are more efficient than trains below the regional level, just as ships become most efficient for global travel. Trains are for interregional and national scale travel.

Wow a 5 lane highway constantly in gridlock is so much more efficient for intracity transit than a light rail system!
