I'm drunk and lonely, dudes. Help me overcome this, and share your drunken literary explorations.

Sober and alone, but okay; have to be at work in an hour. No drunken literary exploits to report. All reading and writing done today stone cold sober.

Bruh, I’m drinking right now. Should I read War and Peace or East of Eden?

I read The Invention of morel while stoned. It was fun, but I hardly remember any of it besides 'pictures steal your soul'.

Not a drunk story but here's some fun stuff I did before.

>took a 5 strip of acid
>relaxed drank tea and mulled over thoughs on my porch
>two hours in on my peak went back inside to my room until I adjusted to setting
>came up with a genius idea that came into my head at same time as my mind was clogged in a loop with visuals up the ass
>pick Finnegans Wake out of my bookshelf and start reading
>everything makes sense Im envisioning dark chocolate rivers and Marshmallow meadows along side Adam and Eve
>Terence Mckenna was right all along

heres a second story
>fractured my clavicle in Football(freshman year HS)
>got prescribed multiple morphine pills but never took them as the pain was not too bad and the pills made me feel like a junkie
>junkie
>pick out Junkie by Burroughs from my shelf(favorite book at the time)
>flip to the mexico section and take about 5-6 morphine 20mg pills
>reading about Burroughs taking a speedball in mexico city while glass eyed was fucking amazing
>I picked up trainspotting from my shelf aswell and had difficulty understanding the Irish slang but ultimately came across one of many nasty scenes and got extremely nauseous
>threw up my guts but felt totally numn

I miss drugs desu

Thnx for sharing bro. I remember when I awoke from spinal surgery asking to be loaded with morphine, and the nurse giving me the sternest of looks while I fell back into unconsciousness.

Read the War chapters now and wait for the peace chapters for when you're sober.

I'm not too literary (though I have pretensions of being so). All I can seem to write is shitty fanfiction, and even then not much. I *am* drunk and lonely, though. So cheers, anon.

>tfw was unemployed and struggling but had inspiration and wrote 50 pages of a novella. Pretty shitty but the most Ive ever written and it had some great ideas.

>tfw got a job and lost inspiration. Have little time to write.

Dont join society bros. Not worth.

>> No.12770307

>get dumped
>consume 500ish ml of vodka over 2 hours
>puke all over a stack of books

that's the most literary thing I've done drunk, I have trouble concentrating when I'm drunk

It's only literary if you aimed for the books
