So, are you a troll? Cuz then meh, you could do better.
Or you are serious? In that case please elaborate, because that book had some outstandingly ridiculous crap in it.

that book was as good as the first movie.

the second book was WAAAAY better than the second movie. i was surprised at how much changed. at least the first book the changes from book to movie were understandable.

i'm actually reading "lost world" by arthur conan doyle (sherlock holmes guy). it's an obvious inspiration for jurassic park and totally worthwhile. i'm at the last few pages and it's been fun. maybe like a 7.5/10. short easy read.

It...loved both the old tv miniseries and the recent movie but the book is awesome.

almost want to say lord of the rings but love both the books and movies equally.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? was definitely better than Blade Runner, thematically. Ridley Scott reduced the complex themes about empathy and what makes us human to the simplistic message that slavery is bad and androids are indistinguishable from humans, which was not the case with PKD's emotionless and jealous androids in the book.

Amazing how Verhoven missed the mark.

The book is a cynical satire on capitalism that explores chaos theory more in-depth than the movie.
The movie tries to make Hammond a sympathetic Walt Disney type character, horribly miscasts Malcolm, and is a dumbed down story about dinosaurs killing people.
Michael Crichton disagrees with the notion that science should be used primarily for entertainment, while Spielberg agrees with that notion.
