just read it, Part I>Part III>Part II and the ending felt half-assed. is the rest of the saga (those written by Frank) any good? i felt like the book ended prematurely, am curious what happens next.

You're supposed to read up to the fifth book if I recall correctly, haven't read them myself.

Messiah finishes the story of paul. Children of Dune, and God emperor of dune is the story of his children. You don't need to read past those, as apparently the story gets weirder, and he died before finishing it and left cliffhangers.

I liked them, themes also seem more clear, but not hamfisted.

>and the ending felt half-assed.

i love all these basement literary critics who vomit their opinions up here as if they've written several novels and they're kindly offering young Frank there some well-meant advice.

like the wannabe militaryfags who have never been in the army or even been in a fight and who endlessly discourse over exactly where Napoleon went wrong.

how.. about... you fucking read them yourself and make up your own mind? or don't you think you could spend six months laboriously moving your lips as you read them?

Just halfway through the first one. I hear mixed things about the sequels. Are they worth going through or is it just Frank padding out the series?
