Is there any point to read this in Russian translation? Is there any good translation of this book at all?

why would you even read it in any other language but english? it's way too idiomatic and embedded in slang. also, if you decide to fuck it up by buying it in russian or french (the title in french doesn't even come close to the one in english), you are probably going to lose its grammatical greatness. btw, there are some syntactic structures in it which are fucking are pristine.
