I spend too much money on books ergo I must start pirating. My flawless logic aside, I cannot afford a kindle or eReader yet I presume some people here actually read full books from their laptops. How the fuck can you do that?

I don't mean hurr durr how do you's torrents. I am trying to ask how do you have the patience to actually read a book entirely from a laptop and or monitor screen? Does it take some practice until it feels natural in some way?

On a serious note, I have a hard time reading from a computer screen too. I usually end up looking up whatever book I'm reading on Project Gutenberg while I'm at work, but I can't read like that for more than about half an hour before I have to take a break.
