It's not at all like that, althoug knowing how to speak in public obviously helps as there's an element of showmanship necessary to keep your class engaged.
The most important part is planning and coming up with interesting exercices, roleplays, games, etc. that are suitable for the level of your students, work within their group dynamic and are pedagogically useful.
You should not be talking the whole class, as students need to practice their active skills and sometimes the class hour is the only time they can speak in their target language.

I teach Latin and Greek to undergrads and tutor high schoolers. More or less, blows. I don't care about language the way some people do, I care about literature.

I'm fucking sick of explaining aorists and optatives and result clauses to communications majors trying to scoot by with C's for their stupid fucking degrees grad school was a mistake
