This, I had some very intelligent but uneducated relatives that lived in the country and they were extremely skilled at a wide variety of things. They were successful in specific trades like transmission repair and would come up with better, faster ways to do things but never published anything about it. Managing a farm successfully is hard work with a lot of variables to keep track of.
