"I will throw myself into my charmer's presence. I have twice already attempted it in vain. I shall then see what I may depend upon from her favour. If I thought I had no prospect of that, I should be tempted to carry her off. That would be a rape worthy of Jupiter!"

The word meant something slightly different in ages past. It meant more to abduct

Inceldom is a truly terrifying pathology. I can't imagine holding such resentment towards something that I cannot stop myself posting and thinking about it, day in and day out, interpreting everything with reference to this object, while simultaneously assuring myself that I don't care about it, and that this something is unworthy of my attention. That I invent fictions about myself, about how intellectual I am because I started browsing the literature board a few months ago, and how that makes me better than women. About how women can't write, can't annotate properly, can't understand certain books, ect, even though i myself have never written anything, don't annotate, and have barely read any books in my entire life, nevermind understood them. Taken all-in-all, you are thoroughly unremarkable, and for all the supposed superiority your sex provides you, you have really made nothing of it. And for men supposedly "going their own way" you spend a hell of a lot of time looking in the rearview mirror. I know this post won't go down well here, but I hope you take time to explore your own beliefs and outlook in a frank manner and either come to peace with your situation, or take steps to improve your situation and hence resolve the source of your impairment. Sincerely, good luck.

Clarissa by Samuel Richardson: according to Harold Bloom, the greatest novel in our tongue. It is yet another English novel where a wealthy young girl has no interest in marriage but is pursued by multiple men. I have only read a fourth thus far, but it has been enjoyable.

Embarrassing. Why do you feel the need to comment in threads where you clearly have nothing to add? I assume it's because your life is out of control. You likely have no friends, human connection, or meaningful activities in your life so you assume an identity on 4chan to get the attention you so sorely lack - be it positive or negative. I imagine you act out in other ways with the intent of drawing attention to yourself. You're trans aren't you? I have a feeling you are. Do you wear screen t-shirts in public that bear the names of your favorite band, or ones that are an ironic nod to your favorite video game in a sad attempt at making a connection with strangers? Have you done anything with your life or do you work part-time at your local grocery store or dog groomer? It's obvious that you spend all your free time making extraneous comments on an image board. I would say you should seek out a therapist to work with you on your shitty personality, but I realize that you're beyond redemption. Anyone like you who had a chance at fixing themselves would have done so already and wouldn't be subjecting the rest of us to their naive and uncultivated thoughts.
