How is Red Rising hidden at all? It was a fairly well publicized series, especially after the first one gained a lot of momentum. I’m not sure if it was a bestseller but it did well.

What can I say about this book, aside from, "fuck that's a lot of necrophilia?" It's practically designed to be outrageous but isn't without subtlety and intelligence.

The titular novella is my favorite part, perhaps contending with the story of the necromancer who raises the corpses of two separated lovers for its portrayal of the reanimated dead alone. Meryphillia, the story of how a young woman becomes a ghoul is also pretty ingenious.
