plath is so good. but she burnt her face in her oven by 30 years old, leaving her kids haunted for life.

her writings are just one long suicide note. its tragic. as someone who's defeated the suicidal itch, I no longer see someone like Plath as an artist. just a lost souls self-expression

Ted Hughes is so much better, probably because instead of putting his head in a fucking kitchen oven he lived a long life and had time to grow and develop as an artist.
