Was invited over by my friend to garden with her the other day, and she has two cats, one named Joyce and the other named Big Chungus. She said her next cat will have an "ethnic name". Have our memes leaked into the normiesphere?

My cats name was Ruggles after Pynchon but he died of FELV after 3 years. We knew he had it but decided to take care of him anyway. Now I have a dog named Plato. My other cats are named Spook and M.E.M.P.H.I.S. after their behavior and a disco biscuits song respectively.
