More books like these? I just finished Pynchon and it made me realize how shit Vonnegut is. I still love Catch-22 tho. Any more books similar to these that I can check out? A little absurd, sometimes really funny, usually involving war or some darker aspect of life?

You might want to check out more Pynchon. Against the Day is somewhat similar to Gravity's Rainbow. Mason & Dixon, though less akin to the aforementioned, is also great.
