How do I write about a suicide that won’t offend anyone and is respectful to the topic? I’ve never firsthand experienced a loved one die from it nor acted on suicidal impulses.

Thanks friendo, I’m really terrified of offending people. It’s part of the reason it’s taken years to get me the courage to start writing this, heck it might be the only. But today’s audience is really touchy on the topic of mental health and I don’t want to be booed out of a career because of a mistake.

I’ve once made several comments on depression and mental health, and many times I’ve received the reply “if you think like this you’re not depressed” or “youre not authorized to talk about this topic” but the I have been for a very long time I just don’t tell anyone online. This story is really important to me but I’m scared I’ll get to the chapter on the suicide and become hated for it.
