hey /lit/ im not really suicidal at all, but im pretty curious to read this thing

anyone knows where i can get a copy, physical or digital, preferably in english, maybe an unofficial translation or something?

I have "Final Exit" 3rd edition by Humphrey, and Suicide and Attempted Suicide by Geo Stone. I was never able to find The Complete Manual of Suicide online. There's also things like ashspace and alt.suicide.holidy etc. for further (and freely accessible) reading.

Question: What got you into studying suicide? I literally just came across the underground philosophy surrounding it and went for these books *yesterday*, and I almost *never* come on /lit/, so this is highly coincidental to see this thread. Did this come from seeing something on /r9k/?

I wouldn't know if they're similar to the manual, because I have not read nor do I possess the manual. I can't say how good they are because I only downloaded them ~12-24 hours ago and have only read part of the introduction by Stone (by the looks of it, it's pretty good, though).

Do be careful though, OP. Some of these manuals are illegal in many countries. I don't agree with that, but you can be arrested for them under censorship laws in places.

From what I know, the book has never been translated into English and is currently banned in the U.S.A.

So good luck finding it.
