>went into his laptop and deleted all related files from there too (took over two hours scouring every single file to make sure there wasn't any evidence of this work being his)
>hesitate, but eventually submit the essay online
>went to sleep
>I'm woken up by him freaking out because he can't find the essay
>I pretend that he's the one who hadn't started yet, and that I'd finished weeks ago
>he realises what I've done and starts threatening to tell the university
>he does that, I'm brought to a panel a week later but there's no evidence of any wrongdoing so I get away with it
>he starts threatening to kill me
>record him making threats and send it to accommodation management, who swiftly kick him out of the flat
It's the most immoral thing I've done, but it worked. My roommate did the essay again over the summer and got a decent enough grade.
