Lit, why are Romance novelists and the people who read them so shitty in general? I shelve books at my library, and honestly, from the sheer volume of books that a single author puts out, I can only conclude that each and every singe one is a total piece of worthless shit. The people who browse these endless volumes of shitty series don't even bother to put them back in the right place either. I wouldn't expect them to put the books back exactly as they were, but how hard is it to put them back within the same author's section? A book by Jennifer Archer doesn't fucking go where the books by Melinda Write go. This shit pisses me off so much.

Dont organize them anymore. Let the lonely fatties find them themselves.

something like 80% of all paperback fiction is purchased by middle-aged women.

Is that 2 guys on the cover of that book?

When did they start writing romance novels like that? I thought they were always Fabio and some woman in a whalebone corset.

Hahaha oh god, I thought that was Lincoln on the front cover fondling the other young lad.

I'd totally read airport romance involving Lincoln though, the novelty of it is too hard to resist.

That's like asking why pornos have such lousy plots. People (lol women) don't read them for their literary merit, they read them for a quick, cheap, escape from the disappointment of their lives.

But unlike men who can get release in about five minutes of jerking it, women take forever to get off and need someone to tell them how much they love them.

No, it's Wolverine making sweet love to Clay Aiken.

I think.
