Can you be an effeminate, degenerate twink genderqueer and still be a Chad? Is being a Chad merely physical to you?

I think it is very obvious that chad is a physical concept to describe a certain class of male who, by virtuous habits or through genetic luck, is seen as handsome, gregarious and desirable.

Choosing to dress as a woman and take HRT is obviously the opposite of what people consider to be "chad". It's people who embody an ideal type of exaggerated masculinity, not people who do whatever the fuck they want.

>> No.12528857

>>12528851
But the Chad/Virgin meme showed that it isn't so much what the person is, but what he does either caused or based on the extreme confidence gained from being handsome, gregarious and desirable and the Virgin doing the exact inverse.

It's an interesting grey area. The higher man is blessed by genetics to get away with doing what he wants, but what if he wants to pollute the source of their power? (Consciously/not) I would say temporary transvestism is in line with the idea (see glam rock), but chopping off your balls almost certainly not. We can argue about the middle ground.

What I don't get is how transgender people think there's some kind of magic with being a woman that is supposedly going to help their mental state. There literally isn't, which is why all their mental health issues don't just suddenly go away when they get sexual reassignment surgery.

You're a brainlet. Sorry to break it to you. You only deal in midwit concepts and your brain is not equipped for abstract thought.

The transition distracts them from their initial problems, and it actually buries them very deep, by adding up more problems (passing, sexuality, radical fems, etc).

>> No.12529034

>>12528985
I get the feeling transgenders are like contemporary exorcisms. The 'scientific' mind would say that demons don't inhabit someone's body but exorcisms work because the subject believes they work. Same thing with transitioning; there's no scientific reason to believe a 'woman' inhabits your body and wants to come out, but if the only acceptable option is transition, then that's the ticket.

Personally I believe psychotherapy and maybe improved living conditions and just skeptically thinking things over in a non-dogmatic manner are much healthier for anyone but you can't expect those things to be readily available. Dogmatic Feminism has an incredibly pessimistic and dreadful view of society and the individual, and the fact that people fall into these beliefs is telling of the flawed nature of humans in general.

The thing is, second-wave feminism convinced the west that there was something unique about women, through books like The Feminine Mystique, or even earlier works like the Second Sex.

The reality is that women are just like other human beings, there's literally nothing special about them other than their ability to squeeze other humans out of their cunt, and yet transgender people think that there's enough female gnosis that changing your sex actually does anything to your own personal predicament.

When in fact, it does not.

Of course, when I say this, I always get the critique that I believe in humanism and universalism, and that this is reactionary, and that I need to read some more bell hooks. But those people can kiss my ass.
