my biggest problem with ebooks is the absolutely shitty lack of standards when it comes to scanning books written before the advent of word processors. anything that has to be scanned usually has hundreds of simple ocr mistakes, like "flick" turning into "fuck".

i've been going through the SF masterworks edition of James Blish's "Cities in Flight" and making some annotations. when i'm finished i'll try to figure out how to get a .epub file into word and fucking FIX IT.
