Call me uneducated, but this is one of the greatest books I have ever read. I've never found any work of writing that made me laugh and cry nearly as much as this... And in public, too.
I'll never let this book go...

You guys have a book like that?

My heavily used and battered copy of House of Leaves. I take it whenever I travel anywhere to read and it never gets old

I feel ashamed that I've had A Dirty Job for years now and still haven't read it. I feel similarly for Moore's Lamb.

One book that just synchs with me entirely, not really though. That was Siddhartha when I was a teen. But I lack one of those sorts of books now. Cyrano de Bergerac the play moves me every time I read it though.

I'll read this book, finish it. Come back a week later and read it again. Repeat.

seriousquestion if you're being ironic (I assume you are): why do people hate on the Bible so much on 4chan? It's better-written than 99% of the lit that people like on /lit/, and I even think /lit/ has pretty good taste in general

tl;dr the bible is actually great literature

This. Every time I read it over I find new subtle details I never noticed and "Easter Eggs" as well as I create new theories on the nature of the story in general.

Yea, it's a very good fantasy book.

I'm the guy who did the Bible sympathy post and I unironically agree with this. If you can enjoy Greek mythology, why can't you enjoy Bible mythology?

hey man if you like christopher moore, you will love Tom Robbins. Imagine like, moore giggling his ass off, tripping mushrooms. read Even Cowgirls Get the Blues

I carried around Animal Farm for about a year and read it everyday during my lunch break. I don't know why I read it so many times, I didn't even think about it.
