I'm serious it didn't. It was already recovering before Hitler took over but he never did anything good with it. The war reparation was already taken care of thanks to the Republic economic minister. Hitler invested increasingly huge sum into the army which obviously didn't bring anything back. He also invested into the creation of a bunch of modern products such as cars, radios and flats aimed at the poor working class but it ended in a enormous failure. The sale of the volks car even ended up as a governement run scam to further finance the army. Synthetic materials were produced in order to have germany become independant from foreign trade but those were financed by taxing the actual material. Civilians productions was slowed down due to numerous and increasingly messed up foreign exchange quota which were put in place to preserve germany small amount of foreign exchange.
