the "uhms" and "ahs" and "neverminds" and repeated ". . . you know"s terminating thoughts are really pissing me off. i get it, it's postmodern and zany and organic etc but it's also an author not finishing sentences, like literally publishing unfinished sentences when his whole job is to write sentences and no this doesn't add anything because i dont care about who the narrator is or whether or not he speaks like an inarticulate retard i want to see you the author see through the sentence that you set up.
