The only aspects of English grammar that give trouble to learners are the irregularities to form past simple and participle, as well as phrasal verbs (which are not so much grammar as vocabulary).

I want to write short stories and novels in English because there is a bigger market for it, but my use of the English language is crap at best, and my writing for whatever reason reveals it was written by a non-native speaker.

Writing dialogues is especially hard. I can't capture the way normal people speak or think.
