I bought some fine line lens for a notebook and I decided to try cursive again, but I can't do r anymore, it's been 15 years since I had to actually write like that, you didn't have to once you were in secondary school in the UK.

Yours looks very European, I like it. I think Carolingian script is beautiful, but that requires a chisel tip.

My own cursive is something like 19th century Spencerian script. I find that keeping your slants as perfectly parallel as possible, and elongating t crosses to the point of being obnoxious, makes for pretty handwriting.

Not necessarily related but check out Emily Dickinsons script sometime. Its insanely unique.

Cursive is a good way to replace the mechanical tapping of a keyboard with the fine, fluid muscle mechanics of the hand. Its more like playing an instrument or painting.
