Because it’s one of the best books ever written.

It's barely discussed here, if that's what you mean.

Exactly, it's a good book yet it never texted meme status on here.

I have a question about it. I read roughly, let's say, 30 to 40 pages. I would like to know if the whole book is of the same kind.
I'm not complaining at all, it's enjoyable enough. The thing is, I can't tell if it's still supposed to be the 'beginning', setting up background, characters, history etc., or if the real thing has started already. Therefore it feels kinda weird.

Is this your first book?

Because it encapsulates human experience with a lot of memorable shit going on throughout the novel. Books with an epic scope tend to have more meme potential than myopic ones.

>implying every book resembles this one
every other page he's going like 'one hundred years later, this and that would happen', thus my question

I’m posting from my phone. I have it saved on my computer at work. If the thread is still alive tomorrow I will post it.

It’s a quite poetic piece of criticism some Anon did last year. It got reposted in other threads over the course of the next months, but recently I haven’t seen it posted again.

It reads like a collection of familial anecdotes. Picture it like sitting down and listening to your possibly dementia-ridden grandfather telling tales of his ancestors

Cuz it’s hella yes.
